Modern Cairn

I learned the word "cairn" this weekend, playing scrabble and was fascinated that a word existed to describe man-made piles of stones. Their purpose is "to increase visibility" or "for religious reasons". I like to think that these two purposes could be one in the same. Clarity has often come to me in moments that feel spiritual.
